What it costs, in full
Most operators make you ask. These are the actual prices, with everything that is in them. Both retainers run on a three month minimum, which is how long it takes for consistent content to show you anything useful.
The two retainers
The difference is who does the posting.
The Cinematic Builder
For a business with someone in-house who posts, but no kit, time or specialist skill to make the video worth posting.
- Up to 3 content sessions a month
- 4 edited Reels or Shorts a month, up to 60 seconds each
- FPV drone flyovers and ground camera
- Clear-audio microphone setups
- Cinematic colour grading
- Publish-ready files on a shared link
- 3-month minimum
The Full Groundwork
Everything above, and then I write it, schedule it and post it. You carry on running the job.
- Up to 3 content sessions a month, across 2 locations or campaigns
- 4 Reels or Shorts, plus 4 static or carousel posts
- Captions written for you
- Local hashtag and keyword work
- Scheduled and posted at peak times
- Monthly report: reach, follower growth, profile visits
- Bio overhaul and story highlights
- 3-month minimum
Add-ons and one-offs
Standalone project showcase film, £650
A 1 to 2 minute mini-documentary following one project from start to finish. Built for the top of a homepage.
Extra content session, £150
For a campaign, an event or a project that needs more capture than the monthly allocation covers.
Graphic design bundle, £200 a month
Up to 4 branded graphics, quote templates or announcements, matched to the brand you already have.
How this compares with buying it separately
A drone operator
Most charge per shoot and do not touch your social. You get footage and a folder, and the posting is still your problem.
A social media agency
Most manage posts and do not produce video. They need content from you, which is the thing you did not have time to make.
Both, from one person
One visit produces the footage, the edits and the posts. Nobody is waiting on anybody else, and there is one invoice.
About the money
-
No. A one-off project film is £650 and plenty of people start there. The retainers exist because a steady stream of content beats one good video that is six months old.
-
Because one month proves nothing. Content compounds, and the first month is mostly setting up the profile, the formats and the shot list. By month three there is something to read.
-
It carries on monthly and you can stop whenever. There is no long tie-in after the minimum.
-
To confirm with Charlie before this goes live.
-
Yes, across the South East. Further afield is fine too, there may be a travel cost. Just ask.
-
You do, for the use we agree. I keep the right to show the work in my own portfolio, which is what this site is made of.
